Featured multi-material works were created during an Artist Residency at The Studio Museum in Harlem, New York. They represent a phase of experimentation with materials previously unexplored in my practice. The primary material structuring these works is firehose. The process of using this material required preparation that included the extremes of water and fire. The works were entitled after their conception, content emerging during the creative process.
